One Sweet Threesome

You had to know I was talking about cupcakes.

My all day cupcake-a-thon produced 72 mini cupcakes. 24 of each Maple Bacon, Blueberry Almond Ricotta, and Fauxstess cupcakes.

Honestly, I am so blessed tired of cupcakes that I'm tempted to just end the post at that. Instead, I'll just give you the best pictures of the day with one snarky comment per pic.

Bacon Drippings. Le ew.

And people say product placement is awkward and unnatural. Farthest thing from the truth.

These are perfectly, gorgeously domed cupcakes. Sadly, they taste like bacon.

Again, devilishly cute, but still bacon.

These look a little starry night. Mmm...makes me want some Van Goghgurt.

Why is it always about the ear?

This picture makes my eyes feel a little weird, but it's probably the best cake shot I've taken so far. You can see a bit of the cupcakes' textures at least.

And I realize that the Fauxstess Cakes really got the raw deal picture-wise. Well... I made them last. End of story. Like the third child, the Fauxstess cakes just weren't really a big deal.

Here's the kicker: I spent about 8 hours working on these cupcakes for my Education Literacy class. 8 hours. And we're supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow. If my class is canceled tomorrow, I can't promise I'll maintain sanity.

Now ends the awkward post of 1 March 2009.

You've got some cupcake picturetaking skills for sure. Or "fo sho" if you prefer, but I bet you don't.

Too bad I don't live within skiing distance. I would be there to help you eat them.

Funny thing is... I almost do prefer "fo sho". When said convincingly, of course. :)
