Thank You Note

Huzzah, Ladies and Gentlemen!

I have my very own KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer.

And isn't she a beauty?

I think so.

Now... if you would... please join me in sending a big Thank You to my grandparents. Thank you, Papa and Gramma!

So far, I've used my mixer to make bread and cookies, and in the future, I will do much more than that.

Welcome, welcome, new mixer. I guess I should name you or some such...

(If you haven't already, please take note of my grandmother's beautiful handwriting on the note. Gorgeous!)

I agree, she's beautiful. I gasped outloud when I saw the picture.

A name is crucial. My mixer is named Dottie.

AHHH! CONGRATS! SO PRETTY! It makes life SO MUCH EASIER, doesn't it? I "borrowed" my mom's about a month ago. And I have NO intentions of returning it...ever. lol. (Luckily she's only used it once in 3 years...so I don't see it being an issue!)

OH...and PS: I love even more the fact that you call your grandparents Gramma and Papa too! I spell mine the exact same way too! We are destined to be friends!

I have a Cuisinart mixer I named Bertha...there isn't anything I've thrown into her bowl that she can't do in the year I've had her.

Congrats! Have fun!

I wept when my parents sent me mine almost 20 (!?) years ago. Mine has been a trusty companion for the thousands of cookies I bake. Have fun and years of baking!!

Yeah I think violet crumble might be an Aus thing - basically the same as a crunchie - honeycomb coated in chocolate - yummy!
