I'm looking forward to the graduate hooding ceremony tomorrow, and I can only hope to outdo myself there.
But! This week (and last) I received two blog awards that demand recognition and... you know... chaining. So here we go.
Friendship Blog Award
Cassie, over at How To Eat A Cupcake, gave me a Friendship Blog Award. According to the language of the thing:
"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.”
Thank you so much, Cassie!
Now I'm to nominate 8 others who fit the bill. *Drumroll* Here are my friends. Bloggers! Friends. Blogger friends.
Evan of Fatally Ambiguous
Kate of The Domestic Empress
Kira of Kira Disapproves
Amber of Newly Domesticated
Bridget of The Life and Times of a Walking Disasterpants
Matt of Enigmatic Argyle
Kate of Medusa Laugh
LP of Who Can Be My Emerson
Keep blogging, friends!
THE ZOMBIE CHICKEN AWARD
"The blogger who receives this award believes in the Tao of the zombie chicken - excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens just to be able to read their inspiring words. As a recipient of this world-renowned award, you now have the task of passing it on to at least 5 other worthy bloggers. Do not risk the wrath of the zombie chickens by choosing unwisely or not choosing at all..."
The blogger behind Emzeegee & the Hungry Three gave me the Zombie Chicken award "for lovely food and words blogging but especially posting the cat on the sled cookie." Who knew that disaster cookie would come in handy?! :)
Thanks, Emzeegee! I am excited to put a zombie sticker on my sidebar.
Not one to provoke zombie chickens, I will present you with the five bloggers whose blogs I regularly fight zombie chickens to read.
